Be a friend, and come give a helping hand. Let’s work together for true and full inclusion, because simply talking about inclusion means nothing unless it is inclusion in action.
You can help these children and families, and you can help us create real inclusion. For us, all children are equal, and each one of them deserves the right to live a beautiful life.
Be the one who makes a difference. Roll up your sleeves and join us.
This year we are once again preparing for CHRISTMAS TOGETHER, our annual initiative where we collect food items to distribute to families in need. Every time we make an appeal, you stand with us without hesitation—and for this, we are sincerely grateful.
Thank you, dear friends. All the food collected will go directly to families who are going through difficult moments—families facing illness, families living with disability, and households that simply cannot cope without the support of others. Your generosity allows us to reach those who often remain unseen and unheard.
As with all our public notices, we would like to remind everyone that we do not collect money. We only accept food items, children’s treats, and basic necessities. Collecting money would put us in breach of Maltese law, and as an organisation we always operate with full transparency and respect for legal obligations. Your participation, kindness, and constant support make this mission possible.
Together, we can bring dignity, warmth, and hope to those who need it most during the Christmas season.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to wish you all a joyful, peaceful, and blessed Christmas, filled with love and goodwill.

We would like to invite you and your family to join us on Sunday, 16th November 2025, from 9 a.m. onwards for this Family Festival, ( FESTA FAMILJA) where true inclusion will reign. This special day is dedicated to families and especially to children — a day where everyone is equal in society, the rich and the poor alike, united in one great circle of inclusion — parents, grandparents, and children together.
It will be a day free from politics or religion, focused only on joy and togetherness.
As we’ve already shared, there will be rides for everyone, and all rides will be completely free of charge. We will also be distributing free popcorn and water. At the same time, there will be continuous shows on stage throughout the day — a time for families to come out together and spend a full day without paying anything, even public transport (the bus) will be free on that day.
Come and have fun — let the children truly enjoy their day!
They can play, join in the games, and those who wish may even come dressed in costumes. We want to let the children be free to choose, because this is their special day.
Persons with disabilities are kindly asked to visit Doninu (Malta) International under our tent, where we will give them Blue Tokens so they can skip the queue for the rides.
Children must always be accompanied by their parents or guardians at all times to ensure everyone’s safety.
On the same day, the crew from “Bongu Malta” will also be present, broadcasting live from Ħal Safi.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Ħal Safi Local Council for once again entrusting us with the section dedicated to inclusion and disability.
For the third consecutive year, the Local Council of Ħal Safi will be organising the Family Festival (Festa Familja) on Sunday, 16th November 2025, starting from 9:00 a.m. onwards. Till 5pm
Once again, Doninu (Malta) International has been entrusted with the section dedicated to inclusion, focusing on children with disabilities and children from families currently facing difficult times.
As in previous years, all rides will be free of charge for everyone, and popcornand water will also be distributed freely throughout the day. This special event reminds us that, on this day, all children are equal — as they should be every day of the year.
Children with disabilities, as well as those under our care or support, are invited to visit the Doninu Malta stand, located under the main tent, where they can receive blue tokens that allow them to skip queues and enjoy the activities comfortably.
We sincerely thank everyone who continues to support true inclusion, where everyone is treated equally and with the same rights.
The event will take place in the Church Square of Ħal Safi and in the surrounding streets.
Domestic violence has no gender — anyone can experience domestic violence, whether a woman, a man, or any other gender. Domestic violence always involves an aggressor who wants to control someone else. That is where it begins: when someone wants to take your life into their hands — controlling everything you do, cutting you off from friends, making false accusations against you, and much more.
We have included a video featuring a man, because it is often harder to convince a man to report domestic violence. Why? Because he thinks people will see him as weak simply because he is a man. This is the reality. But on the other hand, we teach that you are only truly weak if you remain in the same situation. That is weakness — that is the weapon the aggressor uses against you.
However, if you go and report at the DV Hub in Santa Luċija, you will no longer be weak there. You will find professional people who understand you, who are ready to help you, and who will not judge you for being a man — because from the cases they see every day, they themselves have learned that in domestic violence there is no such thing as gender.

Dear colleagues, Doninu (Malta) International has received a full stair lift (ta’ sular) donated by a benefactor. We wish to donate it—free of charge—to a person with disability who truly needs it.
If going to a private individual, we ask for a simple signed agreement to ensure it’s not resold. If going to an NGO or government body, no agreement needed, but confirmation of use is appreciated.

Please let us know if you know someone in need, and feel free to forward this message to others in the disability sector.
