1. Executive Summary
EN:
Flimkien bil-Kant is a national initiative to establish a free, inclusive children’s choir and performing arts group, open to all children up to the age of 16. Rehearsals and workshops will be held in school halls made available by the Ministry for Education, providing safe, accessible, and welcoming spaces for artistic expression.
The aim is for children to learn singing and basic movement/dance while preparing performances for charity events and national fundraising marathons (e.g., Puttinu Cares, ALS Malta, The Marigold Foundation). All songs will carry positive social messages centered around love, compassion, and solidarity—performed in both Maltese and English.
MT:
Flimkien bil-Kant hija inizjattiva nazzjonali biex jinbeda kor tat-tfal b’xejn u miftuħ għal kulħadd, sa 16-il sena. Il-provi u l-laqgħat isiru f’swali ta’ skejjel provduti mill-Ministeru tal-Edukazzjoni, f’ambjent sigur u inklussiv fejn it-tfal jistgħu jesprimu ruħhom permezz tal-kant u żfin sempliċi.
L-għan hu li jitrawmu talenti artistiċi f’tfal minn kull sfond, u biex dan il-kor jieħu sehem f’maratoni u attivitajiet ta’ ġbir ta’ fondi għal għaqdiet bħal Puttinu, ALS Malta, Trust Foundation, u oħrajn. Il-kanzunetti kollha jkunu b’temi ta’ messaġġ soċjali, dwar l-imħabba, l-għajnuna, u l-paċi—bil-Malti u bl-Ingliż.

EN:
Flimkien bil-Kant empowers children to become messengers of love and hope—not through money, but through their voices. It is a movement that shows the true beauty of giving: joyfully, sincerely, and from the heart. In every performance, they sing not just a melody, but a mission.
MT:
Flimkien bil-Kant jagħti lit-tfal l-opportunità li jkunu messaġġiera ta’ tama u mħabba—bil-kelma u l-kant. Huwa moviment ta’ ġenerożità vera: minn qalb ta’ tifel jew tifla, lejn il-qalb tan-nazzjon. Kull kanzunetta ssir missjoni.
